I just stumbled across a really interesting site: We Tell Stories - created for Penguin, it's a new exploration of how to tell stories. The first story, The 21 Steps, was told over Google Maps; another was written live and displayed in real-time, in five hour-long installments, and the most recent one was created as an infographic of teen life and media.
I love the idea of visually walking someone through a story as well as allowing them to interact with information. It's not just sitting back and listening, it's about taking part in the narrative.
Take a look.

Brilliant. Reminds me of the old "Choose Your Own Adventure" books where the level of engagement needed to reach the story's end is well above the norm. No passive participation here!
There is definately something to think about harder here. Thanks Designer.
