My Curiousity Credo...

We should pursue lives of curiosity and wonderment not solely because curiosity reveals our unconscious thoughts and motives, but because curiosity fosters exploration, collaboration, and the exchange of ideas. In doing so, we are serving our higher purpose as people designed for relationship with one another, and as creative discoverers sent out to uncover the complexities of this ineffable thing called life.

This morning I asked the team my burning question: Where do ideas come from?
Here are a few of their responses:

observing well, allowing interest and making/creating a connection
interest, permission, insight
people at play
thinking about it harder
experience
kids, scientists, asking
serendipitous intersections
the pairing of two things
fear of not knowing
monkey or elephants (ben?)
honesty
the need to solve a challenge or challenge a solution
being a smart ass
instinct/ego
greed
evolution
observation
needs and wants to make life better/easier
inside your brain as it translates external stimuli and connects memories
synapses
groups of people can act like one large brain with each person functioning like synapses
impulses
the emotional centers of our brains

How bout you, where do you think ideas come from?
